Matt India is a charitable trust established by Joy Thattumkal in association with Friedrich Gottfried Busch, a German citizen. Under the Trust, Matt India Ayurveda Centre was started in 1986. “This blissful place can cure your health problems from its roots with natural medicines,” says Joy Thattumkal. Currently, Matt India Ayurveda Centre has patients from Europe, United States, Africa and Russia.
Matt India is an Ayurvedic hospital with resident Ayurvedic physicians, therapists, health centre, dispensary, yoga and meditation centre and a restaurant. “We offer treatment for migraine, sinusitis, psoriasis, arthritis, spondylosis, spondylitis, intervertebral disc prolapse and the like. Stress management therapy is another specialty. We treat anxiety, depression and insomnia. Majority of our treatments are based on traditional Ayurvedic practices and Panchakarma,” he informs.
