Indywood Billionaires' Club Prepares For Its 1st Anniversary In Kerala
Kochi: After opening its doors to Indian Billionaires in Karnataka and witnessing a grand success, Indywood Billionaires Club (IBC) now prepares for its 1st Anniversary in Kochi. The anniversary function will be organized at Bolgatty Event Center, Cochin today, 18th October 2019. IBC's first anniversary is celebrated in association with GFW.
The event shall also witness the presentation of the prestigious Indywood Business Excellence Awards 2019 honoring business icons from the State of Kerala.
The Indywood Billionaires Club is a first of its kind elite network comprising India’s wealthiest individuals who fall into this category. They will be exposed to investment opportunities that can help in the nation’s rebuilding process. The consortium aims to achieve the collective dream of strengthening the Indian Rupee and making it equal to One Dollar.
The global Indian Billionaire Community was formally launched during Project Indywood at the prestigious 2nd Indywood Film Carnival which was held from Sep 24-27, 2016, at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Indywood Billionaires Club has continued to grow in stature adding several Indian billionaires and visionaries to its fold while bringing systematic changes in India’s cinema economy. The club recently opened doors to Indywood Billionaires from the South Indian state of Kerala and UAE, inaugurating its illustrious chapters in Kochi and Dubai on September 19 and October 4th, 2018 respectively. As part of the 4th Indywood Film Carnival, IBC also played host to the prestigious Indywood Pravasi Ratna, Indywood Vanitha Ratna and Indywood Yuva Ratna awards which were conducted on Dec 2, 3 and 4, 2018 at HiTEX Exhibition Center respectively.

NRI businessman Sohan Roy, who is consistently featured in Forbes Middle East’s list of Top 50 business owners, is the brainchild behind IBC. A serial entrepreneur and Hollywood filmmaker of Indian origin, his company Aries Group is the chief executing agency of IBC’s ambitious plan. “India is blessed with talented actors and technicians and our film industry should make movies which appeal to the international audience. The movie industry will fetch huge gains if we increase the number of international projects by using advanced technology and worldwide distribution”, said Mr. Roy.
