Kochi: Inkel Limited has unveiled its plans for the newly-constructed state-of-the-art tower at Business Park, Angamaly is all set to be commissioned next year.
The tower, which has come up on an area of 2.5 acres, offers a built-up space of 2.5 lakh sq. ft. It will facilitate companies with office spaces, equipped with power and water supply, at competitive rates. The whole tower will be ready to occupy by February 2016.
“With the new tower, Inkel can provide companies excellent office spaces at much lower rates. We can lease the entire facility with mortgage and sub-lease facility on a long-term or monthly rental basis. This will benefit both the industrialists and investors,” said T Balakrishnan, Inkel Managing Director.
“The ultimate plan is a fully integrated Business Park of 2.5 million sq. ft.,” he said adding that Tower I has been fully occupied.
Tower II, an ultramodern four-storey building at the Business Park, has 40,000 sq. ft. of space at each floor. Investors can take up a minimum of 10,000 sq. ft. or multiple spaces for rental or on long lease.
Balakrishnan informed that the business park would have two more towers. Plans are underway to offer the development of the remaining towers to private investors in a joint venture mode.
The 30-acre land at Angamaly in Ernakulam district was handed over by the State Government in 2010 on a 90-year lease to Inkid, a Joint Venture company of Inkel and Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).
Balakrishnan said the company has been witnessing tremendous response from the business community for the built-up space where it has developed all basic infrastructure facilities such as road, water, power and high-speed broadband connectivity.
The Business Park is located six kilometers away from Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) and 30 kilometres from Cochin International Transshipment Terminal. It is 800 metres away from NH 47 and Angamaly Railway station.
