New Delhi: The Advantage Healthcare India (AHCI) Conclave, the fourth International Summit on Medical Value Travel, was held in Greater Noida recently.
Inaugurating the event, Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, said that AHCI-2018 was aimed at making the country the most preferred healthcare destination for patients from across the globe. The Union Government has set aside Rs. 5000 crore for enhancing various services, including healthcare, the Union Minister added.
Dr. Harish Pillai, CEO, Aster Hospitals & Clinics – India also spoke at the inaugural session of the event.
Aster Medcity, Kochi and Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru showcased various Medical Value Travel facilities at the Conclave. Cdr. Jelson Kavalakkat, CEO, Aster Medcity, was among the panellists for the session on ‘Integration of Health Insurance in MVT’.
Aster DM Healthcare was the Gold Sponsor for the event which was hosted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
