The House that Brings Out Customised Mementos
In this age of branding companies, events and initiatives, Memento Club is into a peculiar kind of branding that facilitates brand promotion through gifting of mementos and souvenirs.
While there are umpteen different ways of marketing a brand, Memento Club believes in the building of brands through customised gifting
Mementos available in the market are mostly made using substandard plastic. Mementos affixed with the awardee’s name are the ones usually given away at functions. But that’s where Memento Club offers an interesting alternative. It is involved in making mementos which are created as per the requirements of the customer, awards often carrying the insignia of the awarder. The unique selling proposition (USP) of Mementos Club is ‘branding through gifting’. Engravings, which are permanent in nature, are done on brass, wood or glass. Memento Club also has specialists who have mastered the art of carving out magnificent sculptures which, in turn, can be gifted as mementos.
“We can create any desired shape if the customer wants to gift someone on a special occasion with a memento based on a specific theme. Let’s say if the State Bank of India wants to design a specific gift, we can make a gift that resembles the Bank’s logo, incorporating its colour scheme and other design details,” says S Sabitha, Chief Executive Officer, Memento Club.
It offers customers awe-inspiring choices whether it is film awards, mementos, metal visiting cards, metal wedding cards, promotional goods, metal boards and many more, and the materials used include brass, other metals, glass, wood and crystal.
The whole idea behind the concept is that tailor-made souvenirs and mementos prompt the receivers to treasure them, which often symbolise the company or the theme of the awarder. “Memento Club helps you give more visibility to your brand. Suppose if you gift somebody a custom-made clock made by us, it will carry all the branding designs one would want to include,” she adds. Memento Club targets premium customers and also handles bulk orders of mementos which are to be gifted at larger events. Embossing of photographs and images on customised products is another service offered by the Memento Club. Besides, etching shapes and insignias on mementos and souvenirs, Sabitha’s firm is also involved in the making of customised ornaments. “If a group of girls wants earrings of a particular design to wear at an event, we do it here,” she said. Making of business card using metal pieces is another area where the company has excelled in. Unlike on normal business cards made of paper, the name, designation and address are engraved on the visiting cards made of metal. “The likelihood of people remembering the details engraved on a metal business cards is more compared to the normal cards,” she says. Similarly, Memento Club also offers attractive metal wedding and greeting cards at competitive prices. “People spend even Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500 for a single piece of wedding card. What we offer are cards made from metal,” Sabitha says.
Memento Club’s showroom is located at Pattom in Thiruvananthapuram. The production house of Memento Club – Imago Metal Edition is based in Kochi. It is run by Sabitha's business partners – Joice C Jose and Jais John.
