Mumbai: Twenty14 Holdings, the leading hospitality investment firm, has been honoured with the Hurun Real Estate Industry Achievement Award for Luxury Hospitality for the second consecutive year, during a gala ceremony held in Mumbai recently. The awards mark the achievements of the real estate sector in India and some of the most successful real estate entrepreneurs were honoured at the event. Various sessions and panel discussions on real estate and related topics were also held during the event.

Established as a research unit in 1999 Hurun Report Inc. has grown into a leading publishing group, whose yearly rich list is widely recognized as the foremost authority in tracking the rapid changes amongst high net worth individuals worldwide.
Twenty14 Holdings, the hospitality arm of Abu Dhabi-based conglomerate Lulu Group International, led by Adeeb Ahamed was founded in 2014 to capitalize on the growth in the global hospitality industry. The company currently has assets worth more than $750m spread across the UK, Europe, Middle East and India.
In India, the group will be bringing some key hotel brands for the very first time, including the first ‘Tribute Portfolio by Marriott’ in Kochi as well as the first ‘Residence Inn by Marriott’ at Electronic City in Bengaluru. Twenty14 Holdings has also invested in a Marriott hotel near the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
Twenty14 Holdings recently announced its entry into mainland Europe with its first property in Switzerland – the IntercityHotel Zurich Airport in Rumlang. Furthermore, in Europe, the firm owns the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian in Scotland and is also currently in the final stages of working with property developer Galliard Homes to create a luxurious five-star hotel at 1-5 Great Scotland Yard, the former headquarters of London’s Metropolitan Police. The firm co-owns the landmark Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat and owns the Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay in Dubai.
Other winners of the evening include Abhishek Lodha of the Lodha Group, Dominic Romell from Romell Group, Ashish Puravankara from Puravankara, Shailesh Puranik of Puranik Builders, Chandresh Mehta from Rustomjee and Jitu Virwani from Embassy Group.
